Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for an Audio-Visual Technician. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual systems including video/projectors, lighting, audio and other equipment as part of our event services team. The role will also provide on-site support and troubleshooting to clients and will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is fully functional at all times. They will collaborate with the sales and warehouse team to assist the preparation and return of company equipment, as well as making key decisions regarding proper application of company equipment to events assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual systems and staging for corporate events at venues locally and nationwide.
  • Coordinating with on-site hired labor to properly set up and operate rented equipment.
  • Provide on-site support to clients, delivering unparalleled service and promptly addressing technical needs or concerns with tact and professionalism.
  • Prepare and sort equipment for future events as well as assisting the warehouse team in the return process post-event.

 

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years combined experience or education in the audio-visual rental and staging business. Experience with corporate clients and events preferred.
  • Experience in warehousing operations. Any experience with Flex Rental Solutions is a plus.
  • Experience operating audio-visual equipment including projection/video, audio, lighting or any combination of the previous.
  • Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including automobiles, vans, personnel lifts, and non-CDL trucks. A valid driver’s license is a must. Possessing an active CDL is a bonus.
  • Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

Travel Requirements

This role requires out-of-state travel often and is therefore mandated. Total travel time up to 20% but likely less.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for an Audio-Visual Project Manager. This position involves managing a team of technicians, overseeing the usage of company equipment, and maintaining our quality standards at events nationwide. The Project Manager will also serve in a planning role, interpreting and communicating production-related technical documentation to staff and vendor laborers. Additionally, they will collaborate with the sales team in a direct, client-facing role to execute their vision and technical requirements.

This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and exceptional communication abilities to foster successful relationships with our clients and deliver results consistent with our standards. Project Managers will be expected to act in the role of production technical staff depending on the needs of the event.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and communicate technical plans based on client requirements for audio visual equipment needs.
  • Assist in the creation of quotations and warehousing documentation for upcoming events using inventory management software.

 

Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years combined experience or education in the audio-visual rental and staging business. Experience with corporate clients and events preferred.
  • Experience in warehousing operations using inventory management software. Any experience with Flex Rental Solutions is a plus.
  • Experience in project management including the creation of technical documentation, interpretation and creation of room diagrams, and communicating technical plans to vendor laborers.
  • Advanced proficiency with audio visual equipment of all disciplines commonly used in corporate events.
  • Proficiency in any software for event technical design, like Vectorworks is a plus.
  • Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including automobiles, vans, personnel lifts, and non-CDL trucks. A valid driver’s license is a must. Possessing an active CDL is a plus.

Warehouse Manager

Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for a Warehouse Manager. This position involves overseeing the use of inventory, maintaining our fleet of vehicles, and maintaining our inventory and facility for future use. The Warehouse Manager will also coordinate with the Production and Operations team on equipment purchases, maintenance and organization projects, and future inventory usage. Additionally, they will develop best practices for company inventory, prep/return policies, and the usage of our inventory management software.

This role requires a strong blend of organizational efficiency, project management skills, and exceptional attention-to-detail to ensure the company’s operational success and deliver results consistent with our standards.

  • Manage and supervise the use of inventory, ensuring proper storage, organization, and tracking of goods.
  • Maintain and oversee the company’s fleet of vehicles used for transportation, ensuring they are properly serviced, licensed, and in optimal condition for use. Coordinate with service providers for repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure the warehouse facility is well-maintained, overseeing repairs, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards. Plan and execute improvements for future operational needs.
  • Work closely with the Production and Operations teams to coordinate equipment purchases, ensuring alignment with operational needs and budget, facilitate maintenance procedures and scheduling, and manage organizational projects for improved efficiency.
  • Create and implement best practices for inventory management, including preparation and return policies, to streamline processes and minimize errors or losses.
  • Oversee the utilization and optimization of inventory management software. Provide training to staff as needed, ensuring its effective use and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

 

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years in warehouse management or a related field. Experience specifically in the audio-visual industry preferred.
  • Experience in warehousing operations using inventory management software. Experience with Flex Rental Solutions strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing a fleet of vehicles, including maintenance scheduling, compliance with regulations, and optimizing vehicle usage.
  • Some proficiency with audio visual equipment of all disciplines commonly used in corporate events preferred.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as scissor lifts or forklifts preferred.
  • Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including automobiles, vans, personnel lifts, and non-CDL trucks. A valid driver’s license is a must. Possessing an active CDL is a plus.

  • Keen attention-to-detail to maintain accurate records, oversee maintenance, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
